Classical Christmas Music

Christmas would not be the same without Christmas music. However, I know for some, it gets annoying. First, Christmas music is played in stores from Halloween through the end of December, and we only hear the same recordings of the same songs every year. Is there a better way?

Yes! Christmas music has been around for centuries, and there are thousands of versions available to hear. Also, there is plenty of music to discover that you have never heard before. This year, I encourage you to help your kids enjoy some of the most excellent Christmas music ever written and appreciate the diversity and variety that we currently have available.

To help you out, I have created a special Classical Christmas Playlist. I am adding it this each week in December, so be sure to follow me on Social Media for updates.

I have put together a few resources over the years to help your kids learn and enjoy Christmas music even more than they do now.

Learn about Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker and teach your kids with a free worksheet!

Sleigh Ride is a lively piece by Leroy Anderson and employs multiple, fun special effects.

Finally, I have a few Christmas oriented tutorials for your kids.
